At Unilever Away From Home, we believe that elderly care homes should feel just like home. That’s why we’re making the needs
of all residents our priority including training and inspiring chefs through our elderly care specialist culinary team, in the hopes of enhancing the mealtime experiences of residents.
That’s why we created This Is Home, the closed Facebook group and dedicated hub where care sector chefs, or anyone involved in the provision of food and drink to residents living in care, come together to share inspiration, ideas and advice.
Connect with like-minded chefs who are passionate about serving their residents colourful and nutritional food.
Our closed group is a great place to find exciting recipes, helpful tips and best practice guides. A safe space where you can ask any questions or share any ideas.
Alex Hall, Executive Chef at Unilever Away From Home, explains: “This social group provides care home chefs with a fantastic space where they can share inspiration, recipe and menu ideas and communicate with other
people in the sector. It’s about a shared understanding for the same line of work and an appreciation for the challenges working in this sector brings, but also the incredible opportunities and rewarding experiences that it affords.”
