We are committed to supporting healthcare catering professionals and aim to create nutritious, cost-effective and versatile solutions that can be prepared quickly and conveniently to provide the very best selection for residents. We understand the difficulty care caterers face as well as the importance of including a range of seafood on menus to ensure residents can reap the many health benefits it provides.
VERSATILE SOLUTIONS
From non-fried products and oily fish solutions to gluten-free alternatives and MSC-certified choices, the Young’s Foodservice range can be used to create endless meal choices. Young’s Chip Shop Battered Fillets are just one example of a product that can be used in so many different ways. The Chip Shop Battered Fillets are coated in Young’s signature Chip Shop crisp, bubbly batter to give the authentic taste of the British chippy and provide residents with that traditional fish and chip experience that they love.
The fillets are available with Haddock and Cod and Wild Alaska Pollock and come in a range of sizes; small, medium and large, to cater for the varying appetites of residents.
The Chip Shop Battered Fillets can be served traditionally with all the trimmings but can also be easily adapted to suit those residents who enjoy trying international cuisines – why not serve with Jasmine sticky rice and a Katsu curry sauce to bring a taste of South East Asia?
The flavours of Japan remain on-trend and are being incorporated on all menus, including care homes. Zingy and colourful ramens or stir fries with lots of tasty ingredients are easy
to create and are always satisfying. They also complement different proteins such as Young’s Pink Salmon and Alaska Pollock Pieces, which can be added straight from frozen for the ultimate convenience.
The Alaska Pollock and Pink Salmon Pieces are a fantastic source of omega-3 and vitamins whilst providing a quality protein source that can be used in multiple ways to create meals that are bursting with plenty of nutritional value and flavour.
FISH FOR LIFE
